Palm Of Rice Event

Our event, "Palm of Rice," which is dedicated to providing warmth and nourishment to those in need. "Palm of Rice" is a community-service initiative, in which our club members will be visiting households that have registered for this event to collect rice donations. As the name suggests, each household is welcome to donate as much rice as they wish, ranging from a palmful to kilograms. The collected rice will be graciously contributed to a nearby orphanage. We collected around 45 kgs of rice

Pfc - Run For Fun

We helped organizing a marathon event for kids It was an early morning event from 6 am to 10:30 am where different age groups of kids participated in the marathon. Winners were rewarded. It was for kid's aged 5-15 with 5-7 years old running a 0.5K marathon, 8-11 years old running a 3K marathon and 12-15 years old running a 5K The Rotaract members volunteered for the planning and proper execution of the event including Bib collection, marking the tracks, providing refreshments

Karavali Event

Newspaper Drive

we collected old newspapers from the residents. With our previous successful runs, we successfully made this one even better and larger in terms of collection. We collected 140kgs and got 1800 as contribution

Pawfet Pets

The Pawfect Pets Competition was back again this year, and we called all pet parents to join in the fun!🐶🐱🐦 We hosted an online competitions for the pets of PFC. The pet owner had to send the videos to us and we would post it online on our Instagram's page The 2 pets with the most views will 𝙬𝙞𝙣 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙚𝙩 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙨!! 🎁 It was a well loved event and helped us get a lot of PR.

Pcod/pcos Workshop

PCOS is a very common issue, but whenever we talk about medical events, the spotlight is always on either cancer or heart related issues. We wanted to change that. We wanted to provide a platform where we can freely discuss important topics like PCOS and PCOD. Rotaract club of Prestige falcon city organised a workshop to educate people about this cause. Along with this, we also conducted a yoga workshop and free health checkup. This event was appreciated by everyone and was a huge success

Ipl Match Screening

The club organised an event - match screening (RCB vs RR) in the mini theatre of PFC to experience the epic battle in the eliminator round. The event was a huge hit among the spectators who got to enjoy the event with their friends and families

Festival Of Giving

A donation drive to Jana Seva, an orphanage for young boys and Hosa Sadhane a home for the blind and orphans. We distributed essentials, ranging from cookers, blankets and blind aid sticks and many more items, and had a nice and insightful time interracting with the wonderful people there.

Childrens Day Donation Drive

On the occasion of Childen's Day our club collaborated with our sister club RaC Sobha Forest View to conduct a donation drive for the girls at 'Prasanna Jyothi' orphanage in Jp nagar. We aimed to meet the orphanage's requirement of essentials such as corriander powder, tur dal, urad dal, etc. We also planned to conduct a 'party theme' where we cut a cake with kids, gave them snacks and juice and conducted some fun game slike anthakshari and quiz. it was a very heart warming experience overall and it was a great joy to interact with the bright young kids.

New Years' Celebration

A grand and mega scaale event conducted in the apartment for all the residents on New Years' Eve. Attracting thousands of rresidents and guests, were a host of cultural activities ranging from dances and quizes culiminating in a fun dj night. We also partnered with an NGO called MITU foundation inviting them to set up a stall in our apartment, with proceeds from sales going to a good cause. MITU (Multiple Initiatives Towards Upliftment) works with disadvantaged girls and women in areas of menstrual hygiene, teaching skills and up-cycling.

Paws For A Cause

Celebrated love during Velentines' week by helping transform Charlie’s Animal Rescue Centre, an animal shelter in Yelahanka established in 2013, which is home to many dogs, cats, rabbits, ducks, hens, pigs, guinea pigs, birds and terrapins Raised funds and gathered volunteers to support the cause. We painted the walls of the shelter with fun artwork, and redid the pain in their office as well. The remaining funds went as a donation to the shelter. We raised close to rupees 16 thousand and had a great time learning from the people who run the shelter and of course had a lot of fun spending time with the animals. The event was a grand success.

Stroke And Mental Awareness

This is an interactive session, brought to you by Rotaract Prestige Falcon City, in collaboration with parent club Rotary Kanakapura and PFCAOA, and is designed to empower you with knowledge and support for a healthier adult life. Session 1: Navigating Adult Life (4:00 PM - 5:00 PM) 🧠 Smrithi Rannore, Founder of Project Mind Matters, lead the session on mental and cognitive well-being. She talked about practical strategies for managing stress, social connections to prevent isolation, and empty nest syndrome. Session 2: Stroke Awareness Program (5:00 PM - 6:30 PM) Stroke is a leading cause of death and disability. Knowing the signs and taking preventive measures can drastically reduce the risk.Millions of lives can be saved with timely intervention. You could save a life, or the lives of loved ones! 🩺 Dr. Sharath Kumar GG, Senior Consultant Neuroradiologist, Apollo Hospitals, Bengaluru, provided vital information on stroke prevention, symptoms, and immediate action. The event also had support from the Senior citizens group and had over 250 attendees.

Trash-bash

A collection drive on Sunday, April 20th. Where we collected old electronics, newspapers, and other scrap items. over 150 killos of waste was collected aand sent for recycling!
