Free Dinner For The Security Guards

The security guards of Mantri Tranquil Apartments were shown the gratitude that they deserve by giving them free dinner and catering service by Rotaract Bengaluru Harmony. This is an ongoing series of events the club has done annually to give back to those who help us such as Garbage collectors , security guards etc.

Newspaper Drive 2

Rotaract Bengaluru Harmony went door to door to almost 1400 flats in Mantri Tranquil to collect old newspapers from residents that would otherwise be thrown away. The club raised funds using the newspapers collected which can be used to finance future projects.

Tulsi Plantation

Rotaract Bengaluru Harmony donated and planted 22 tulsi plants and has taken initiatives to maintain them across Mantri Tranquil apartments on the occasion of Ram Mandir Inauguration on the 22nd of January. We invited the residents of our society to come and plant with us for the auspicious event.

Polio Drive

Rotaract Bengaluru Harmony provided volunteers to set up and run polio vaccine camps at multiple locations around the area(including Mantri Serenity, Falcon city , Konanakunte Metro station , Doddakalasandra metro station etc). This was done in collaboration with our parent club(Rotary Bengaluru Harmony) and we were able to give vaccines to over 250 kids.

Rotaract Bengaluru Harmony in collaboration with parent club visited the cancer hospice Karunashraya and helped in distributing and donating handmade crochet scarves to the patients.

Wayanad Relief Drive

The Wayanad Relief project aimed to raise funds to support the communities affected by the floods in Wayanad, Kerala. 3.2 Activities ● Fundraising Campaign: A dedicated fundraising campaign was launched to collect donations for the Wayanad Relief project. ● Community Outreach: The campaign involved reaching out to individuals, corporates, and other organizations to gather financial support. ● Fund Transfer: The collected funds were transferred to trusted organizations working on the ground in Wayanad to ensure they reached the affected communities efficiently. 3.3 Outcomes ● Funds Collected: A total of ₹ 35,451 was raised, providing vital financial support to relief efforts in Wayanad. ● Community Involvement: The project successfully engaged the broader community in supporting a cause of critical importance. 3.4 Challenges ● Awareness and Engagement: Encouraging widespread participation in the fundraising campaign required significant effort and strategic communication.

Tree Plantation

The Tree Plantation project aimed to enhance green cover and promote environmental sustainability by planting trees in urban and rural areas. ● Site Selection: Locations were identified for tree plantation in consultation with local authorities and environmental experts. Environmental Impact: The project successfully planted 200 saplings, contributing to carbon sequestration and biodiversity. ● Community Engagement: The project engaged local communities, especially schools and youth groups, in environmental conservation activities. Challenges: ● Survival Rate: Ensuring the survival of the planted saplings in varying climatic conditions was a challenge. ● Volunteer Mobilization: Coordinating with volunteers across multiple locations required efficient planning and communication.

Collaboration With 'Offbeat' For Orphanage Drive

Offbeat' is an artist collective whose founder, Aditya Tripathi celebrated his birthday by keeping a dance workshop for collecting money and goodies for an orphanage. We helped with logistics and networking and made is successful! We collected stationary, books, clothes, and cash.
