Some evenings leave a quiet imprint on the heart - and this was one of them. On the very day of our installation, we gathered under Project Anna Sanjeevini: Serving with Love. Led by House Captain of Tejas, along with our Community Service and Areas of Focus Director team, we set out to serve not just food, but warmth, dignity, and presence. In the temple lanes of JP Nagar, 68 food boxes reached 68 individuals - daily wage earners, elderly uncles and aunties, and curious little ones. The joy wasn’t only in the meal; it was in the human connection. One elderly uncle folded his hands and smiled, whispering, “You didn’t just feed me - you made my evening.” From planning and packing to the gentle rhythm of distribution, every step was carried with care. There was no rush, no noise - only the steady intention to show up for someone else. We listened, exchanged smiles, and lingered long enough for gratitude to bloom on both sides. This evening reminded us that kindness doesn’t have to be grand to be life-giving. Sometimes a simple gesture - a hot meal offered with respect - can steady a weary day and light a small, steady hope. As we look ahead, may we keep answering these quiet calls to serve, again and again, with humility and heart. Project Anna Sanjeevini is more than an activity; it is a promise - to serve with love, to honor dignity, and to be there when it truly matters. Together, we left with fuller hearts and gentler eyes for tomorrow ahead.
