On 16th and 17th September 2025, the Rotaract Club of SSMRV College carried forward the spirit of service through Anna Bhagya, an initiative rooted in compassion, gratitude, and community care. Over two heartfelt days, we had the privilege of serving more than 600 people - each meal carrying not just nourishment, but love, dignity, and hope. The recipients of this initiative were the silent pillars of our society - labourers, bus drivers, rickshaw pullers, vendors, shop workers, watchmen, and homeless individuals. These are the people who keep our world moving, often unnoticed, and for them, a warm meal was more than food - it was a reminder that they are valued, respected, and cherished. The most beautiful part of this project was the smiles we witnessed - the sparkle in a bus driver’s tired eyes, the gratitude of a shop worker, the joy of a labourer holding a wholesome meal. Each smile was a story, a gentle reminder that kindness, when shared, multiplies. What made this initiative even more special was the generosity of a group of elder well-wishers, who came forward and covered all the food expenses. Their belief in the cause and their willingness to stand by us amplified the impact of this project, proving that service knows no age - it only needs a compassionate heart. For our team, Anna Bhagya was not just about distributing meals; it was about building connections, uplifting spirits, and reaffirming humanity. It reminded us that even the simplest act of care can create ripples of kindness that last far beyond the moment. Together, we showed that when love is shared, no one is ever left behind.
