Guard Your Data 4.0 - Cybersecurity Talk

On 23rd September 2025, the Rotaract Club of SSMRV College, in collaboration with the Interact Club of PSBE, conducted Guard Your Data 4.0: A Cybersecurity Awareness Session for the bright minds of class 9. In today’s world where so much of our life is online, the session served as a timely reminder that protecting our digital presence is just as important as safeguarding our real-world belongings. The session was led by Ms. Anjali K - an accomplished software engineer, proud alumna of SSMRV College, and a source of immense inspiration for the students. With warmth and clarity, she walked the young learners through the fundamentals of cybersecurity, unraveling what it really means, the common threats lurking online, and the “golden rules” to follow for safety. Her words were not just informative, but also empowering - equipping students to take charge of their online security with awareness and confidence. The energy in the room was palpable. Students listened intently, asked curious questions, and engaged with genuine enthusiasm. What made the day even more special was a heartwarming gesture by the Interactors - they presented Ms. Anjali with a handmade thank-you card. That simple yet meaningful act carried immense love and gratitude, turning the session into a memory that went far beyond just knowledge-sharing. With 160 students in attendance, Guard Your Data was more than an awareness program - it was an investment in building a safer, more responsible digital future. For our team, it was fulfilling to see young learners walk away not just with information, but with the confidence that they can be the guardians of their own digital worlds. At its heart, this initiative reminded us that awareness is the first step toward empowerment, and small steps today can shape stronger, safer tomorrows.
