Filmy Funda

On 30th September 2025 at 7:00 PM, the Rotaract Club of Jyoti Nivas College (JNC) hosted Filmy Funda – The Ultimate Bollywood Quiz, an evening that blended fun, learning, and pure filmy entertainment. Conducted virtually through Google Meet, the event saw enthusiastic participation from around 30 members, including our very own Rotaract Club of SSMRV College, who joined in with equal excitement to celebrate their shared love for cinema. From evergreen classics to the latest hits, the event truly captured the essence of Bollywood, bringing everyone together in a space filled with laughter, nostalgia, and friendly competition. The quiz was designed with unique rounds such as Which Actor Inspires You, Guess the Song from the Movie, Guess the Actor by Only Their Eyes, Guess the Movie by Emojis, and Guess the Song by the Beat. Each round tested knowledge in fresh and innovative ways, encouraging observation, creativity, and quick thinking, while also creating countless moments of joy and bonding. For the participants, every question became more than just a challenge - it was a chance to relive memories, sing along to favorite tunes, and connect over shared cinematic moments. What made the evening even more meaningful was the spirit of collaboration and support, as the event not only strengthened ties between our clubs but also reflected the true Rotaract spirit of teamwork and camaraderie. The dedication of the organizers from JNC and the infectious energy of the participants ensured that Filmy Funda was not just a quiz, but an experience to cherish. We, the Rotaract Club of SSMRV College, are grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a vibrant event and look forward to many more collaborations that celebrate learning, creativity, and togetherness in the Rotaract family.
