Rotaract Club of S.S.M.R.V. College successfully organized Signs of Hope, an inspiring and joyful session featuring Indian Sign Language (ISL), held on 5th October 2025 at Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain Park. The event aimed to promote inclusivity, empathy, and awareness about the importance of non-verbal communication. It was led by passionate signers Parmeet, Founder of Deaf Bookwave, and Rtr. Nida Fatima, ISL Interpreter and Social Entrepreneur, who introduced participants to the expressive beauty of sign language. Through their warmth and expertise, attendees experienced how gestures and emotions can build deeper connections than words ever could. The session was packed with fun, learning, and laughter. Participants took part in interactive activities, team challenges, and light-hearted ice-breakers that encouraged communication without speech. These moments of silent interaction revealed the magic of understanding through expression and emotion alone. The park echoed with cheerful energy as strangers connected, smiled, and learned together - proving that the language of kindness needs no words. The event also witnessed enthusiastic collaboration from fellow Rotaract Clubs whose participation added to the energy and spirit of unity: Rotaract Club of Seshadripuram Academy of Business Studies; Rotaract Club of BMSCE; Rotaract Club of Bengaluru HSR and Rotaract Club of Mount Carmel College. Signs of Hope beautifully blended learning with fun, inspiring every participant to embrace empathy in daily life. The event concluded with smiles, gratitude, and a renewed sense of appreciation for inclusive communication. Signs of Hope was more than a learning session - it was an emotional journey that celebrated empathy, understanding, and the beauty of unspoken expression.
