Rotaract Club of S.S.M.R.V. College hosted Happy Tails on Saturday, October 11th, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sarvoham Animal Foundation. Organized in collaboration with the compassionate V Paws team, the visit was a heartfelt initiative dedicated to spreading love, awareness, and kindness toward rescued animals. The afternoon was filled with warmth, laughter, and genuine moments of connection as volunteers spent quality time with the dogs at the shelter. We played, engaged, and shared affectionate moments, creating bonds that spoke of trust and unconditional love. The rescued dogs, once victims of abandonment and neglect, responded with joy and gratitude, their wagging tails and bright eyes reflecting the healing power of compassion. For the volunteers, those tender interactions became profound lessons about empathy and the deep emotional connection humans share with animals. Beyond the emotional experience, Happy Tails served as a valuable learning opportunity. The V Paws team guided participants through the various aspects of animal rescue, rehabilitation, and daily care, sharing insights into the challenges faced by shelters and caregivers. Volunteers also learned about responsible pet ownership and the importance of promoting adoption over buying animals, helping to foster a community built on awareness and empathy. More than just an event, Happy Tails became a celebration of kindness, teamwork, and social responsibility. It reminded everyone that even small gestures of care can make a lasting difference. The day ended with smiles, gratitude, and a renewed appreciation for compassion - proving that love has the power to heal, and when shared selflessly, it creates ripples of hope that extend far beyond the moment.
