Rotaract Club of S.S.M.R.V. College successfully conducted Project Elevate 2.0 - Phase 3 for students of Grades 5 and 6, focusing on two vital topics - Stray Dog Safety and Good Touch & Bad Touch Awareness. The initiative aimed to nurture young minds with essential knowledge about personal and community safety, while also cultivating empathy and responsibility toward animals and themselves. The session began with an enlightening discussion on Stray Dog Safety, where students learned how to behave calmly around street animals and understand their body language. Facilitators emphasized the need to respond to dogs with kindness rather than fear, teaching simple yet effective ways to avoid risky situations. The session beautifully highlighted the importance of compassion, encouraging children to play a role in building a community rooted in care and coexistence. The second segment addressed the sensitive yet crucial topic of Good Touch and Bad Touch. Delivered with age-appropriate sensitivity, this part of the program empowered students to recognize boundaries, trust their instincts, and communicate openly with trusted adults. The facilitators created a safe and supportive environment where children could freely express their doubts and feel reassured about their personal safety. To keep the sessions engaging, interactive activities such as word-building games, quizzes, and creative icebreakers were integrated. These fun exercises helped reinforce important learning points while keeping the students actively involved and motivated. By the end of the program, young participants walked away with valuable lessons that blended safety, awareness, and empathy. Project Elevate 2.0 - Phase 3 truly fulfilled its mission of shaping responsible, compassionate individuals who understand both their own safety and the importance of caring for the beings around them - a small step toward a kinder, safer world.
