
Rotaract Club of S.S.M.R.V. College proudly participated in the Wildlife Conservation Walkathon on 2nd October 2025, held from Vidhana Soudha to Lalbagh, as part of the state’s Wildlife Week celebrations. With 75 enthusiastic members joining the cause, the event became a remarkable display of teamwork, environmental awareness, and youthful commitment toward protecting our planet’s biodiversity. The morning was filled with enthusiasm and a collective spirit of purpose as the Rotaractors gathered at the iconic Vidhana Soudha. Walking alongside Hon. Deputy Chief Minister Shri D.K. Shivakumar, Sports Icon Anil Kumble, and Forest & Wildlife Minister Shri Eshwar Khandare, participants proudly carried banners and wore Rotaract merchandise, spreading the powerful message of “Coexistence of Humans and Wildlife.” The atmosphere was vibrant - filled with chants for conservation, smiles, and a shared sense of responsibility. Every step taken symbolized hope for a greener and more harmonious future. The walkathon wasn’t just about participation; it was a heartfelt commitment to action and awareness. Rotaractors engaged with the public, encouraged conversations on protecting natural habitats, and emphasized small, daily steps individuals can take to safeguard the environment. The event concluded with renewed motivation and pride. The Rotaract Club of S.S.M.R.V. College demonstrated that change begins with awareness and unity. Through this inspiring initiative, members pledged to continue their journey toward conservation, sustainability, and a future where humanity and wildlife coexist in balance and respect.
