BOOvie Night

On the occasion of Halloween, the Rotaract Club of S.S.M.R.V. college organized a virtual movie night titled “BOOvie Night” on October 30, 2025. The event was designed to foster fellowship and provide members with a fun, relaxed environment to connect and celebrate the festive season together. A total of 27 members participated in the event, which was conducted through Google Meet. The chosen film for the evening was Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride - a perfect blend of dark humor, gothic visuals, and heartfelt storytelling. The movie’s unique theme of love and life beyond the ordinary complemented the Halloween spirit beautifully. Members joined the call dressed in their cozy Halloween moods and enjoyed watching the movie together virtually. The atmosphere was lively, with friendly chatter, laughter, and shared reactions throughout the screening. BOOvie Night successfully achieved its objective of strengthening bonds among members through a creative and interactive experience. The event showcased how fellowship and joy can thrive even in virtual spaces, reinforcing the true spirit of Rotaract - connection, creativity, and community. Overall, BOOvie Night was a delightful and memorable celebration that brought together members in the Halloween spirit while fostering camaraderie and togetherness.
