Phase 1 of the "RITHUCHAKRA - Menstrual Health Management Session" organized by Rotaract District 3191, in collaboration with Rotary District 3191 and Rotary Bengaluru South Samarpane, was successfully executed. This phase focused on training club members, both male and female, to serve as trainers in menstrual health awareness. For female participants, the sessions included comprehensive discussions on understanding the menstrual cycle, maintaining hygiene, busting myths and misconceptions, addressing nutritional needs during menstruation, and effectively managing discomfort. On the other hand, the sessions for male participants were designed to emphasize the significance of menstruation, encourage empathy and support, dispel stigma and myths, teach practical ways to assist, and foster open and informed conversations. The primary goal of Phase 1 was to equip these trainers with the knowledge and skills necessary to raise awareness and break the silence surrounding menstrual health. By nurturing a community that is informed, sensitive, and caring, this initiative strives to promote menstrual health awareness and contribute to a more inclusive and supportive society. Phase 2 and beyond will continue to build on this foundation, spreading menstrual health awareness far and wide. Together, this collaborative effort seeks to create a positive and lasting impact on menstrual health education and support.
