In our pursuit of strengthening bonds within the Rotaract community, we came up with a year-long initiative, with Rotaract Club of Falcon Hyderabad, RID 3150, as our first participatory club. On the 26th of August, we initiated this project with a cultural exchange event that showcased the rich and diverse cultures of Bangalore and Hyderabad. This event brought together a total of 40 members from both clubs. We kicked off the gathering with an introductory session where everyone shared their names and their favorite foods. Followed by the opportunity to discover the delicacies of both cities, such as Hyderabadi Biryani and Masala Dosa. Furthermore, both clubs taught each other a few basic phrases in their respective native languages. To end the event, we engaged in a "myth buster" round where we exchanged myths and stereotypes about our cities and cultures, aiming to break any misconceptions and foster a deeper understanding of both the cultures among the attendees.
