'Saathi: We for Her, The year-long project, ' undertaken by the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T., is a noble endeavor aimed at addressing an essential yet often overlooked aspect of women's hygiene and well-being. The project centers around the donation of sanitary napkins to underserved communities, with a strong focus on promoting menstrual health and breaking the stigma surrounding it. In the successful completion of phase one, the club showcased its commitment to this cause by donating 300 sanitary napkins to the girls at the Sumangali Seva Ashrama. This phase was marked by a collaborative effort of the board members and attendees of the installation event, highlighting the unity and compassion that underscores the club's values. A notable contribution came from Capgemini, a supportive partner that further enriched the initiative by contributing to the sanitary napkin drive during the installation event. The project, 'Saathi: We for Her,' encapsulates the spirit of solidarity and empathy. By addressing the menstrual hygiene needs of girls and women, the project not only ensures better health but also empowers them to lead confident lives. It reflects the club's dedication to community welfare and its mission to foster positive change in society. As the project moves forward into subsequent phases, it is poised to touch the lives of more individuals, promote awareness, and ultimately contribute to a healthier and more equitable community. Through 'Saathi: We for Her,' the Rotaract Club of Atria Institute of Technology has embarked on a transformative journey that not only uplifts the lives of those it reaches but also sets a precedent for compassionate service and social responsibility. The project's impact resonates far beyond the physical donations, emphasizing the importance of understanding, empathy, and support for the well-being of all. The upcoming months we will have phases of these project where we donate and collect the sanitary napkins. Project chaired by: Rtr. Raina Elfreda Rego, Rtr. S Bhavyashree & Rtr. Sameen Mehnaz Fathima
