We Rotaract club of kssem took an new initiative to celebrate paper bag day by making handmade paper bags and creating awarness among the students about paper bags !! We rotaractors started the event by collecting the waste newspapers from students. All of us were enthusiastic and started making hand made paper bags ..by dividing work among ourself . We had lots of fun making bags"best out of waste"..once we were done with it all of us had that satisfied and happy moment !! All of us were very thrilled and carried the paper bags just like tote bag ...and the whole college campus looking at us surprisingly!! We went to each class ..spoke to the students and taught them then the benifits of paper bags ..just like *Contributes to the growth of forest mass *Reduces climate change *Biodegradable and reusable *Resistant and economical,etc We then distributed the hand made bags to the staff ,we were filled with happiness looking to their expression !! It was wonderful hearing their comments... one of them told she will carry this bag to the market to buy groceries !! Later we visited near buy shops and gave them paper bags..creating awareness among pubilc people !! Totally it was an amazing and successful event. Just like the thought "Be the change that u wish to see in the world " It was such a day ..!! Stop bagging the planet – say NO to plastic bags. And say a big yes to paper bags. Paper bags are simple way to make big difference fir the environment . On Paper Bag Day take an oath and encourage everyone to use paper over plastic!
