World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated globally each year from August 1st to August 7th, with the primary aim of promoting and supporting breastfeeding. It also seeks to raise awareness about the benefits of breastfeeding for both mothers and infants while addressing common stereotypes and misconceptions associated with breastfeeding. In our group discussion, we gathered to educate ourselves and discuss ways to break these stereotypes that have developed over time. We gained a deeper understanding of the importance of breastfeeding and the need to break down stereotypes associated with it. It is our hope that through continued awareness and advocacy, we can create a more breastfeeding-friendly society that empowers mothers to make informed choices for the health and well-being of their children.
