We undertook the project Swasthya Stree, Swasthya Shishu on maternal & child health, one of Rotary’s focus areas. The location was Avati Village beyond Devanahalli, around 50Kms from the city. The goal was to reach out to 60 rural families & the target audience being pregnant women and kids less than 3 years. 24 medicos split into 11 teams, and along with the PHC & ASHA workers went door-to-door covering 140 families in less than 6 hours!
