"Newspaper Bag Donation 2.0" stood as a remarkable community service initiative orchestrated by the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. The primary aim of this endeavor was to provide practical assistance to street vendors and to raise awareness about the pressing need to reduce single-use plastic in our environment. Thanks to the enthusiastic participation of the incoming freshmen's batch, the club was able to create an impressive collection of over 350 newspaper bags. The impact of this initiative extended beyond the act of donating. It sparked valuable conversations and increased awareness among both participants and recipients about the detrimental effects of single-use plastics.
