Ganesha Habba Celebration on 24th September 2023 Ganesha Habba, or Ganesh Chaturthi, is a cherished Hindu festival celebrated with immense enthusiasm and devotion throughout India. On the 24th of September 2023, a day that marked not only the auspicious Ganesha Habba but also a significant installation ceremony, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation and spiritual fervor. This special day brought together a diverse gathering, including DRR. PP. Rtr. Rtn. Arun Teja Godhavarthi, members of our parent Club Rotary Bangalore Midtown, and our dedicated Rotaract members. Ganesha Habba holds a unique place in the hearts of millions, as it commemorates the birth of Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed deity who symbolizes wisdom, prosperity, and the removal of obstacles. This year, the celebration held even greater significance, occurring just before the installation ceremony, which would mark a new chapter in the Rotaract journey of our club. The event commenced at 2:30 PM with a grand procession led by DRR. PP. Rtr. Rtn. Arun Teja Godhavarthi, Our Parent Club Rotary Bangalore Midtown. As the melodious sounds of traditional music and chants filled the air, the vibrant procession made its way through the venue. The centerpiece of the procession was a beautifully crafted idol of Lord Ganesha, adorned with vibrant flowers and decorative ornaments. This idol installation symbolized the welcoming of the deity into our midst, and the atmosphere was charged with spirituality and devotion. One of the most heartening aspects of the event was the active involvement of our Rotaract members. They played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of the celebration, reflecting the spirit of volunteerism and community engagement.
