he "End Polio Now Walkathon" was a remarkable event organized by the Rotaract Club of Koramangala in association with Rotary District 3191, Interact District 3191, and Rotaract District 3191, along with the collaboration of 27 other clubs out of which we were one of the collaborated club and 15 volunteered from our side. This event had a crucial mission at its heart – the eradication of polio and the vision of a polio-free nation. The day commenced with an energetic flashmob performance by the Rotaract Club of HSR and the Rotaract Club of SSMRV, setting the tone for the day. Participants, gathered at Town Hall, embarked on a spirited walk towards Lalbagh, chanting impactful slogans and spreading awareness about the global polio eradication campaign. The atmosphere was filled with contagious enthusiasm. The significance of the event was furthergraced by the presence of esteemed chief guests, including the Honorable Sri Dinesh Gundu Rao, a distinguished Cabinet Minister of the Government of Karnataka, and the renowned Sandalwood actress, Sonu Gowda. The event received an auspicious start, led by our esteemed District Governor, Rtn. Udhaykumar, emphasizing the unwavering commitment shared by all present to this crucial endeavor. In recognition of the participants' unwavering dedication and the event's success a certificate of appreciation, honoring their significant contributions in the fight against polio.The "End Polio Now Walkathon" showcased the power of collective action in working towards a polio-free world and left a lasting impact on the community.
