The Rotaract Club of BMSCE hosted a vibrant and engaging Welcome Bash on 2nd November 2023 at BMS College of Engineering. The event aimed to bring together new and existing members, fostering a sense of community and introducing them to the core values and activities of the club. To kick off the evening, an array of icebreaker games was organized, creating a lively atmosphere and allowing members to connect in a fun and informal setting. These activities aimed to break down barriers and establish a sense of camaraderie among the attendees. The event featured entertaining games such as the Oreo game and the ping pong ball game. These activities not only added an element of enjoyment but also encouraged teamwork and collaboration, aligning with the Rotaract spirit of service through fellowship. Following the games, an introduction session was conducted to familiarize the attendees with the core team and the Board of Directors. This helped in establishing a connection between the members and the leaders who play a crucial role in the club's functioning. A short video presentation was showcased, shedding light on the theme of the year and highlighting the commendable work that the Rotaract Club of BMSCE has undertaken in the past years. This retrospective provided a glimpse into the impactful projects and initiatives carried out by the club. An informative session unfolded, explaining the different avenues within Rotaract, emphasizing the diverse opportunities available for members to contribute to various social causes. The session aimed to enhance the understanding of the global Rotary movement and the role Rotaract plays as its youth-oriented counterpart. The President and Secretary took the stage to articulate the significance of membership and elucidate the benefits of actively participating in Rotaract. They provided valuable information on membership criteria, responsibilities, and the rewards of being part of this dynamic community. The Welcome Bash organized by the Rotaract Club of BMSCE was a resounding success, fostering a sense of unity and enthusiasm among members. The varied activities and informative sessions set the stage for a promising and impactful year ahead.
