Rotaract Club of Bangalore Jayanagar in collaboration with Arya Vysya Ladies Group International (Basavanagudi Wing) embarked on a heartwarming community service project 'Sena Jashn' during the festive season of Diwali. We extended our gratitude and support to the brave Indian soldiers who are away from their families, serving the nation. This project aimed to convey our deep appreciation for their sacrifices and dedication. Our team visited three schools to involve the young minds of the future. We interacted with 350 enthusiastic children from VVN School, Yediyur Govt School, and Need Base India. These children, full of creativity and compassion, wholeheartedly joined us in creating special greeting cards for the soldiers. The cards were filled with heartfelt messages and beautiful artwork, symbolizing the love and respect our community has for our soldiers. In total, 15 dedicated Rotaract members actively participated in this project. We carefully packaged the greeting cards and ensured they reached the soldiers in a timely manner. It was a small gesture, but we believe that these tokens of appreciation carried immense significance for those who protect our nation. This project was a collective effort of our Rotaract club, the students, and the school staff, and it epitomized the spirit of unity and gratitude. We are proud to have had the opportunity to engage with these 350 young minds and foster a sense of social responsibility in them. Our Diwali project was a resounding success, and it is a testament to the power of community service and the impact it can create. We look forward to continuing our mission of service and making a positive difference in the lives of those we touch.
