The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T., in collaboration with Yuva Care and Maybelline New York, recently hosted an insightful event titled "Brave Talk." This event was part of Maybelline New York's global initiative to address anxiety and depression, providing invaluable support tools to help individuals navigate their emotions, whether it be stress, anxiety, depression, or any other emotional challenge. The primary focus of the event was to engage with college students, as part of the Brave Together India initiative, and create an open dialogue about mental health, anxiety, and stress. The event featured a distinguished speaker, Sanaya Sanas, a dedicated Mental Health Practitioner and the founder of "Alaya," a thriving Mental Health Community based in Pune. With an M.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Bangalore, Sanaya brings her expertise to offer counseling and psychotherapy in a safe and confidential environment, aimed at exploring emotions, beliefs, and behaviors. She also contributes to widespread awareness and accessibility by organizing group-therapy workshops for individuals of all ages in and around Pune and serves as visiting faculty at Symbiosis International University. More than 500 students had the opportunity to benefit from this event, which included engaging activities focused on mental health. To acknowledge their participation and commitment to the cause, the students received certificates and exciting goodies generously sponsored by Maybelline New York. This initiative marks an important step in addressing mental health issues and creating a supportive community for young individuals in India. Chair: Rtr. S Bhavyashree Co-chair: Rtr.
