In collaboration with the Rotary Club of KGF, the Rotaract Club of KGF successfully organized "The Marathon for Drug-Free KGF 2023" on December 10th, 2023. The event garnered substantial support from various departments in KGF. Pre-event Promotion: Poster Release: Commencing on November 6th at Girls High School KGF. Pamphlet Distribution: Disseminated 20,000 pamphlets at key locations including bus stands, railway stations, colleges, hospitals, and medical shops. Banner Placement: Installed 15 large banners strategically across the district. Auto Announcements: Promoted the event through auto announcements for three days. Garbage Vehicle Promotion: Utilized eight municipal office-supported garbage vehicles to promote the marathon for three days. Video Publication: Released a video emphasizing the importance of a drug-free KGF featuring doctors and college principals. Press Meets: Conducted three press meets, securing coverage in five newspapers and eight news channels in KGF. Unique Promotion: Enlisted 50 students from the Future Warriors of Indian Army KGF for a three-day trail run, promoting the event at all five KGF railway stations. Event Highlights: Participants: Over 2500 individuals actively participated. Chief Guests: Distinguished guests included Judges of the KGF court, SP of KGF, and Dr. Rajendra Kumar. Prominent Support: Received overwhelming backing from various departments. Awards and Recognition: Trophies: Awarded 24 trophies to the top 6 winners across all categories. Medals: Distributed 250 medals to participants. Participant Amenities: Provided T-shirts and certificates to all participants. Additional Arrangements: Ensured participants enjoyed a complimentary breakfast. Post-event Celebration: Entertainment: Organized a bandset for attendees to celebrate the success of the marathon.
