Continuing the legacy of the flagship events of Rotaract Club of RVCE, Uptown Junk was conducted to ease the college stress and bring in the competitive spirits of all the budding Rotaractors. The event began with an adventurous treasure hunt where participants solve clues hidden in the college premises to collect Rota money, and buy junk in exchange of the Rota money. This was followed by a competition of best out of waste to test the abilities and creativity of the participants. The top 3 teams with most innovatory models were rewarded. The models were evaluated on the basis of four factors namely, Ideation, Creation, Presentation and Utility in future. Uptown Junk was an event that maximized one's professional abilities. A two-day event with a significant student participation rate consisted of two rounds: the treasure hunt and the best-out-of-waste .The fusion of adventure and creativity not only showcases the participants' problem-solving skills during the treasure hunt but also celebrates their resourcefulness and imagination in the best out of waste competition.
