Smriti Phase 2: Shishu Vriddhi is a compassionate endeavor aimed at promoting maternal and child health, A joint Initiative between The Rotaract club of SSMRV College and the Rotary Club of Bangalore Cantonment. This joint initiative has been instrumental in raising funds to support various aspects of maternal and child well-being. One notable manifestation of this project unfolded during a heartfelt visit to the maternal ward at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital. The funds generated through the Smriti event were dedicated to the provision of 10 essential newborn baby kits, meticulously curated to cater to the needs of both infants and their families. These kits included vital items such as diapers, baby cream, baby soap, and baby powder, addressing the fundamental requirements for the well-being of newborns. The visit to the hospital allowed the team to personally distribute these kits to families in need, creating a direct and meaningful impact on the community. The Joint Initiative between the RaC SSMRV College and the Rotary Club of Bangalore Cantonment exemplifies the power of collective action in addressing crucial issues related to maternal and child health. This initiative reflects a commitment to fostering a healthier and more secure environment for mothers, newborns, and their families, epitomizing the spirit of compassion and community service.
