On the festive occasion of Christmas, the SPAW wing of the Rotaract Club of BMSCE organised an enchanting event, "Santa Bow-Bow," on December 24, 2023, at Cubbon Park. The event aimed to celebrate the joy of Christmas in a unique way—by bringing together pet lovers and their furry companions for a day of festive fun. Photo Booth: A vibrant photo booth was set up where attendees could capture memorable moments with their pets. Volunteers diligently managed the booth, ensuring a seamless experience for the participants. The booth not only added a fun element to the event but also provided an opportunity for pet owners to create lasting memories. Volunteer Responsibilities: Aditi, the dedicated organizer, efficiently managed the event by assigning roles to volunteers. Some volunteers were stationed at the entrance, overseeing the closing of doors to maintain security. Others were responsible for managing the event's social media presence, capturing and sharing delightful moments. Paw Christmas Cards: One of the most exciting activities at the event was the creation of Paw Christmas Cards. Volunteers took prints of the dogs' paws and crafted personalised Christmas cards for pet owners to cherish. This unique and heartwarming activity resonated well with attendees, resulting in high demand for these special keepsakes. Acknowledgments: The success of "Santa Bow-Bow" wouldn't have been possible without the collaborative efforts of our volunteers and the enthusiastic participation of pet owners. Special thanks to Aditi for her exemplary leadership and meticulous event planning. Conclusion: "Santa Bow-Bow" proved to be a delightful and heartwarming celebration of Christmas, bringing together the joy of the season and the love for our furry friends. The event not only provided a platform for pet owners to connect but also showcased the Rotaract Club of BMSCE's commitment to organising meaningful and community-centric events.
