RacJNC hosted its flagship project, "Handful 4.0," embodying the powerful mantra: "Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." This initiative aims to provide essential groceries to those in need and raise awareness on the critical issue of hunger. The initiative focused on providing groceries to underprivileged families in and around Koramangala area. Each donation kit contains essential grocery items such as :- 5 kgs of rice, 1 kg of wheat flour, 1 kg of sugar, 1 kg of salt, 1 kg of green gram, and 1 litre of oil. Through the combined efforts of our collaborating clubs, a total of ₹6800 was raised. The donation was given out on 25th of December in the presence of our principal Dr. Sr. Louisa. In the spirit of giving, we distributed over 250 grocery kits contributed by the college management and different clubs & associations of the college with over 57 kits contributed by the Rotaract Club of JNC. The event was marked by the presence of 11 volunteers - 6 from JNC & 5 individual volunteers from our collaborating clubs. We had 6 clubs collaborating with us for this initiative:- RaC Palmville, RaC Koramangala, RaC Jain Evening College, RaC Mount Carmel College, RaC Aagneya, and RaC Bangalore East contributing either monetarily or in-kind.
