The Fist Full event, a testament to the generosity and empathy of the community, embarked on its Phase 2 journey with an inspiring mission: to make a meaningful difference in the lives of underprivileged children. The project's core ethos revolved around the simple yet powerful act of donating a fistful of rice and dal, symbolizing the collective effort of students towards a noble cause. The event triumphantly collected 1640kg of rice and 600kg of dal, a heartfelt contribution made possible by students who, each day, set aside a "FIST FULL" of rice and dal towards this noble cause. These essential provisions were not just donations; they were lifelines extended to the Sai Gurukul School in Tigalarpalya, Bengaluru. Sai Gurukul, a beacon for underprivileged children, provides a comprehensive support system, offering free education, food, health drinks, study materials, and subsidized uniforms up to Class X. Recognized by the State Board of Karnataka, the institution operates under the patronage of the Satguna Sangraha Trust, sustained by the generosity of public voluntary donations. In essence, the Fist Full project not only met its objective of gathering essential provisions but also epitomized the spirit of solidarity and empathy. Through their collective efforts, participants not only made a tangible impact on the lives of underprivileged children but also reaffirmed the power of community-driven initiatives in fostering positive change. In collaboration with the Rotary Club of Bangalore Spandana, District 3191, this initiative reflects our commitment to making a positive impact on the community.
