In a collaborative effort, the Rotaract Club of Bangalore Aagneya, Indian Ploggers Army, and other NGOs joined forces to restore a 1700-year-old Naga temple in Tumkur on 7th Jan 2024. Thirty volunteers, alongside locals and CISF personnel, dedicated their day to deweeding and plogging, revitalizing the temple premises. With unwavering determination, they worked tirelessly until the site was pristine. Priests from Siddaganga Mutt performed a sacred puja, marking the temple's revival, and it was joyously reopened to the public. This initiative not only preserves our cultural heritage but also fosters community engagement and environmental stewardship.
