The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. organized a significant plantation drive on February 24, 2024, specifically targeting students from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SCR. The event saw the meticulous planting of saplings, aligning with the club's commitment to environmental sustainability. Notably, the initiative extended beyond the campus, as faculty members were generously provided with plants for personal cultivation at their homes. This two-fold approach aimed not only to increase the green cover within the educational institution but also to instill a sense of responsible environmental stewardship among the academic staff. A total of 42 plants were both planted on the premises and donated. The collaboration between Rotaract Club members and enthusiastic students fostered a sense of community engagement and eco-consciousness, highlighting the club's dedication to bringing about positive change beyond the boundaries of academia.
