During the World Rotaract Week from March 14th to 18th 2024, PP Rtr. Lalitha Deepak set out on RIDE to Philippines, RI District 3790. She expressed that the experience was a transformative journey hosted by the Rotaract Club of Saint Fabian, Rotaract Club of Metro, Malasiqui, and Rotary, Rotaract and Interact Club of Hundred Islands. Together, they embarked on a mission of service and fellowship, igniting enthusiasm among students, raising awareness about pregnancy and maternal health, and participating in a coastal cleanup drive at Hundred Islands. Throughout our four-day excursion, they traversed diverse landscapes, guided by the noble mission of Rotaract. From distributing essential care units to advocating for environmental stewardship through coastal cleanup, each activity resonated with purpose and impact. During the course of R.I.D.E, they visited multiple places that depict rich culture and history of Philippines. As they bid farewell to District 3790, they carried with us not only memories of cultural vibrancy and hospitality but also the profound sense of fulfillment that comes from serving others. Special thanks to ADRR Marione and the force of RI District 3790 for their exemplary leadership and for orchestrating an unforgettable journey of compassion and warmth.
