The event organised by Rotaract Club of BMSCE in collaboration with Team Hasiru, a Non – Governmental Organisation dedicated to environmental caused, particularly focusing on providing assistance in environmental protection. Purpose: The primary objective of this drive in Banashankari 6th Stage was to engage the participants in deweeding and applying organic manure to the plants that were planted by us approximately 2 years ago, ensuring the healthy growth and sustainability. Activities and Highlights: The event commenced at 8.00 am with volunteers from both organisations gathering at Banashankari 6th stage to begin the sapling Maintenance activities. Volunteers actively engaged in deweeding and applying organic manure to the plants that were plannted by Rotaract Club of BMSCE with Team Hasiru approximately 2 years ago. The maintenance work concluded at 11.00 am ensuring that 100-120 saplings received the necessary care and nutrients. A total of 100-120 saplings were maintained and nurtured during the drive, making a substantial impact on the growth and sustainability of the plants. The collaboration between the Rotaract Club of BMSCE and Team Hasiru facilitated efficient coordination and resource management, enhancing the drive’s effectiveness. Impact and Community Response: The Sapling Maintenance Drive received a positive response from the community, with participants expressing gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to the care and growth of the saplings.
