On 31st May 2024, the Rotaract Club of SSMRV College hosted its flagship event, "Shero 2.0 Phase 2," focused on fostering support and inclusivity for the transgender community. During this event, participants wrote heartfelt letters to transgender individuals, which will be personally delivered in the next phase. These letters will be read aloud to the recipients, enhancing the emotional impact and connection. After the letter-writing session, participants engaged in fellowship activities, beginning with the game "Zip Zap Zoom," which fostered camaraderie and fun. This was followed by the interactive game "New Choice," where participants enacted humorous and unusual situations. A moderator prompted them with "new choice," requiring them to adapt the scenario with spontaneous new words or actions. Some scenarios included the normalization and inclusion of the LGBTQ+ community, emphasizing acceptance and understanding. "Shero 2.0 Phase 2" aimed to promote awareness and solidarity with the transgender community while providing an engaging and supportive environment for participants. The event highlighted the importance of acceptance and inclusion, reinforcing the club's commitment to diversity and social justice.
