The Rotaract Club of RVCE recently organized skill development sessions across eight schools in the RR Nagar and Kengeri localities of Bangalore, impacting over 1000 underprivileged students. Aimed at students from financially modest backgrounds, the sessions were designed to enhance their understanding of key academic concepts and provide essential skill-building opportunities. Schools visited included BET Convent, Sai Sri Vidya Chethana, Vishwa Bharathi High School, Kengeri High School, Government Model Primary School, Nehru Memorial School, Priyadarshini Vidhya Kendra School, and Mount Carmel English School. The initiative focused on curriculum-based learning through interactive methods, ensuring relevance and engagement. Volunteers from the Rotaract Club gained invaluable experience by stepping into the roles of teachers, fostering a deeper appreciation for the teaching profession. These sessions not only helped students academically but also provided mentors who offered guidance and encouragement, addressing significant educational disparities. The initiative highlighted the transformative power of volunteerism and the critical need for quality education for all, leaving a lasting positive impact on both students and volunteers.
