On June 14th, the Rotaract Club of RVCE organized a comprehensive Eye Checkup Camp at the RV College of Engineering campus. This initiative, in collaboration with Agarwal Eye Hospitals in Bengaluru, aimed to provide free eye care services to the college community. The event saw the participation of experienced ophthalmologists who conducted thorough eye examinations for over 350 attendees, including students, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff. The checkups included assessments for vision clarity, eye health, and early detection of potential eye conditions. The significant turnout highlighted the community's need for accessible healthcare services and the impact of such initiatives on promoting overall well-being. The event concluded with a heartfelt closing ceremony, where the Rotaract Club of RVCE expressed their gratitude to the doctors and hospital staff from Agarwal Eye Hospitals. In a gesture of appreciation and environmental consciousness, saplings were presented to all the medical professionals involved. This act symbolized growth, care, and the ongoing commitment to both health and the environment. The successful execution of the Eye Checkup Camp not only addressed an essential healthcare need but also fostered a sense of community and collaboration, reinforcing the Rotaract Club's dedication to serving and uplifting the local population.
