To start off the Rotary year, the board members revisited Little Sister of the Poor, just as we did at the beginning of the last Rotary year. This return felt like a full circle in our Rotaract journey, reaffirming our commitment to fostering companionship and community. During our visit, 19 volunteers spent meaningful time with the elderly residents, we had the privilege of meeting some truly inspiring individuals who reminded us of the richness of life experiences and the resilience of the human spirit.Inspiring individuals like Tulsi Raman, a former auto driver who found solace at the home, Krishna Murthy, whose art defies age, and Violet, whose singing touched our hearts. As a gesture of our support, we donated essential groceries, including 1 kg of Urad dal, 100g of jeera, 100g of saunf, and 2 packets of Maggi. This visit was a beautiful way to begin our Rotary year, filled with compassion and the enduring spirit of community.
