Connectfor's innovative initiative aimed to bridge the gap in educational resources for visually impaired children through a virtual audiobook recording project. On July 10th, 2024, a Zoom meeting was held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM to kickstart this impactful endeavor. During the meeting, participants were introduced to Connectfor and their mission. The project details were outlined, emphasizing its goal of providing valuable educational materials to children in need. Volunteers were guided on how to record audiobooks, with options to choose articles from a variety of topics, including discrimination, finance, and morals. The session concluded with feedback forms and a project overview. Volunteers had the opportunity to record audiobooks in both English and Hindi, ensuring accessibility for a diverse audience. This initiative not only offered essential learning resources but also fostered a strong sense of community and connection among volunteers.
