The volunteers gathered near the SMVT Railway Station before being transported to a dense area overrun with weeds. The primary task for the day was to clear the weeds surrounding the plants, and the volunteers were divided into groups of 15, each guided by an experienced leader. This setup ensured an efficient and organized approach to the weed removal process. Throughout the drive, participants not only contributed to the environmental cause but also had the opportunity to learn valuable skills related to plant care and weed management. The event facilitated social interaction among volunteers, allowing them to meet and bond with new people from different parts of the city. The friendliness and warmth of the participants contributed significantly to making the experience enjoyable and memorable for everyone involved. Overall, the tree-restoring drive was a productive and engaging event. It saw a participation of 25 members from RaCMCC.
