Rotaract Club of Bengaluru HSR ,initiated a fundraising chess competition where the participation will help provide chess boards for a government school. Chess is more than just a game; it is a timeless pursuit that enriches the mind, promotes personal growth, and connects individuals across the globe through a shared passion for strategy and intellectual challenge. They had an introduction session on Google Meet led by Rohan, where he explained the rules. The session commenced at 11:00 am and lasted for 1&1/2 hours in an arena format. Participants were instructed to log in to the Lichess app and were paired up, with each match having a 10-minute timer. Successive wins formed a streak, displaying their scores. Braille Chess board were donated too as part of the project to encourage people to play chess and not to let their circumstances stop them from chasing their dreams.
