RaCJNC recently participated in a significant Kargil Vijay Diwas event, commemorating the 25th anniversary of India's victory in the Kargil War. Organized in collaboration with Rotary Palmville and six other clubs, the event featured General Yash Mor, a retired Indian army officer, as the keynote speaker. The meeting brought together 100 participants, fostering a strong sense of patriotism and collective reflection. General Mor delivered a compelling talk covering a range of topics. He addressed how individuals can adapt to change, respect different cultures and religions, and cope with the intense challenges of a soldier's life, including mental health issues post-service. He shared personal experiences from his time in the army, discussed the impact of comparison and competition on children, and highlighted the critical nature of decision-making in high-pressure situations. The General also provided an insightful overview of the Kargil War and emphasized the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas in honoring the sacrifices made by soldiers.
