The Rotaract Club of Jyoti Nivas College actively participated in "The Essentials of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion," hosted by the Rotaract Club of Pune Mideast, RID 3131. The virtual event, held on Google Meet from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm, saw engagement from 20 clubs. The meeting began with the collaring of Presidents and Secretaries, followed by the Four-Way Test. DEIO Rtr. Shriya Velhal introduced the session, which featured presentations by Rtn. Tejashree Patil, DEI Representative of Rotary District 3131, and Rtr. Anushka Sapatnekar. They highlighted key aspects of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in our Rotary community. A Q&A session and an Open Forum allowed participants to interact with the speakers, deepening their understanding of DEI principles. The event was a valuable learning experience, fostering discussions that underscored the importance of DEI in creating a more inclusive community.
