Our sister club-The Rotaract Club of Koramangala, RID 3191, organized a workshop titled Pictura Take 1: "Lens and Learn." This innovative session introduced participants to the fundamentals of photography, with a focus on understanding camera lenses and their crucial role in capturing images. Designed for beginners, the workshop covered various types of lenses, such as prime, zoom, wide-angle, telephoto, and macro lenses. The facilitator explained key concepts like focal length, aperture control, and their impact on composition, perspective, and depth of field. The session effectively simplified the complexities of lens selection and usage, equipping participants with essential knowledge and boosting their confidence in experimenting with different lenses. Attendees left with a strong foundation to start their photography journey.
