The Rotaract Club of Jyoti Nivas College, in collaboration with the Rotaract District 3191, organized a flood relief drive, Neravu, to support those affected by landslides and floods in Wayanad, Kerala, and in parts of North Karnataka. The objective of the drive was to collect essential items to extend a hand of help to the affected communities. The donation drive was held from 9 am to 3 pm for 5 days, at JNC. The following items were collected and sent to the affected areas: 1. Biscuits - 9 packs + 41 loose biscuits 2. Soap - 5 bundles (100 pieces) 3. Toothpaste - 8 pieces 4. Shampoo - 70 pieces 5. Sanitary pads - 6 packs 6. Snacks - 10 packs 7. Mini Swiss roll - 1 pack 8. Ready-to-cook meals - 7 packs 9. Handkerchiefs - 2 10. Torch - 1 11. Socks - 4 pairs 12. Bedsheets - 14 13. Shall (Shawl) - 1 The Neravu Flood Relief Drive was a successful initiative that demonstrated the collective effort and commitment of the Rotaract Club and the community in supporting those in need. The drive collected a substantial amount of essential items, which will surely provide some relief and comfort to those affected.
