On August 15, 2024, the Rotaract Club of Bangalore Jayanagar celebrated Independence Day by organizing a special event called "Svatantrata Sangrama." This project was dedicated to spending quality time with children who are away from their families, aiming to create a joyful and inclusive environment. The event featured a variety of activities, including dancing and singing, in which both the children and club members participated enthusiastically. The club also provided snacks, which added to the children’s delight, making the event a success. The shared moments of happiness and joy made "Svatantrata Sangrama" a memorable celebration of freedom and unity. The event started at 12 PM and concluded at 4 PM. Throughout the day, the children sang, danced, and enjoyed themselves. As the event concluded, the children expressed their feelings, and their smiles filled everyone’s hearts with happiness.
