BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Rotaract Club of BMSCE contributed essential items worth approximately ₹9,000 to support flood-affected areas in Uttara Kannada and Kerala through the NERAVU initiative led by the District Community Service Team. EVENT DESCRIPTION: The Rotaract Club participated in NERAVU, a district-wide relief drive organized by the District Community Service Team of RI District 3191. The drive aimed to provide essential support to the flood-affected regions of Uttara Kannada and Kerala. Our club generously donated a variety of items, including: Clothing and Textiles: 1.⁠ ⁠Variety of clothing 2.⁠ ⁠⁠Towels ⁠Food Items: 1.⁠ ⁠Biscuits 2.⁠ ⁠⁠Ready-to-eat food items 3.⁠ ⁠Jars of jam Toiletries and Hygiene Products: 1.⁠ ⁠Soaps 2.⁠ ⁠Sanitary napkins 3.⁠ ⁠Mosquito repellents 4.⁠ ⁠Toothbrushes Health and Relief: 1.⁠ ⁠Zandu Balm (for pain relief) The total value of the items donated was approximately ₹9,000. These contributions were made to address the urgent needs of those affected by the devastating floods, ensuring they have access to basic necessities during this difficult time. SPECIAL HIGHLIGHTS: Extensive Collection: The drive saw a diverse collection of items ranging from clothing and textiles to essential hygiene products, emphasizing a comprehensive approach to relief. Health & Hygiene Focus: A significant portion of the donations focused on health and hygiene, including sanitary napkins, mosquito repellents, and pain relief balms, addressing critical needs in the affected regions.
