The Rotaract Club of Bangalore Jayanagar RID 3191 collaborated with the Rotaract Club RCBPIT RID 3012 for an online event titled "Lung Cancer Awareness" on August 5, 2024, via Google Meet, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. The session aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of lung cancer, including its causes and the precautionary measures necessary for prevention. Ms. Peehu Baaliyan, an undergraduate MBBS student, conducted the session. She delivered an in-depth presentation on the factors contributing to lung cancer, explained how the disease develops, and highlighted essential pre-diagnostic and post-diagnostic precautions to manage and prevent lung cancer effectively. Her insights were instrumental in educating participants about lung health and the critical importance of early detection.
