On the 18th of August, we teamed up with Saahas NGO for a Plog Run during the vibrant Lalbhag flower show. As one of the most popular events in the city, the flower show attracted visitors from all over India, which unfortunately meant a lot of litter was left behind. Determined to make a difference, we took action by collecting dry and wet waste—plastic bottles, wrappers, and other debris—to help keep the grounds clean. With gloves on and bags in hand, we worked together to gather as much litter as we could find. After collecting everything, we responsibly handed over the waste to BBMP workers for proper disposal. The effort felt incredibly rewarding as we did our part to keep this beloved space beautiful for everyone to enjoy. After the cleanup, we treated ourselves to the breathtaking sights of the flower show, walking among the vibrant blooms and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. It was a day that perfectly balanced giving back to the community and savoring the beauty of nature.
