Rotaract Club of Koramangala was proud to participate in and volunteer at the pioneering workshop on addiction, suicide prevention, and stress management, hosted by NIMHANS, BBMP, and Rotary District 3191. This groundbreaking event brought together experts, stakeholders, and community members to tackle pressing issues and equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to address them. The workshop was formally inaugurated by Shri Suralkar Vikas Kishor (IAS), Hon'ble Special Commissioner (Health), BBMP, who emphasized the importance of collective action in addressing these challenges. We were particularly impressed by the emphasis on community engagement, empowerment, and collaboration. The workshop highlighted the critical need for collective action in addressing addiction, suicide prevention, and stress management. As volunteers, we were honored to contribute to the success of the event and be part of a ripple effect of positive change in the community.
