The Rotaract Club of Mount Carmel College successfully conducted a cancer awareness project aimed at educating students about cancer prevention, early detection, and the importance of support for those affected. The initiative involved engaging students through interactive activities that sparked meaningful conversations around cancer. Members of the club distributed colorful ribbons to students, symbolizing solidarity and raising awareness. Each ribbon was accompanied by a brief explanation of its significance, encouraging students to wear them as a sign of support for cancer patients and survivors. As part of the project, we organized a quiz-style interaction where students answered questions related to cancer facts, myths, and preventive measures. This not only facilitated knowledge sharing but also helped dispel common misconceptions surrounding the disease. The enthusiasm displayed by the students was commendable, and their participation highlighted the effectiveness of peer-to-peer education. To capture the essence of this initiative, we recorded videos of students sharing their insights and responses to the quiz. These videos serve as a powerful tool for further spreading awareness within the college community and beyond.
